What is the EURIPID collaboration?
EURIPID is a voluntary non-profit collaboration of the European pricing and reimbursement authorities for the mutual sharing of pricing information of medicinal products.
Who can become a partner of EURIPID?
Any EU/EEA/EFTA country can become a partner of the EURIPID Collaboration. Other European countries according to the definitions of the United Nations and supranational organizations can become associated partner if they fulfill certain obligations please contact the EURIPID collaboration via email: euripid@neak.gov.hu or contact form.
What is the difference between a partner and an associated partner?
Associated partners are national authorities and institutions of countries, endowed by national legislation for competence in pricing and reimbursement of medicines and who take part in the EURIPID collaboration but have no voting right in the Board of Participants. Both partners have to pay a yearly subscription fee.
Who has access to the database?
The national competent authorities for pricing and reimbursement of medicinal products of the participating countries can access the database and perform real-time queries. The number of users per participating country is unlimited.
How does data delivery work?
Partners deliver the data of their country to the EURIPID team. The team standardises the delivered data and feeds it into the database.
How up to date is the database?
The partners have to provide timely access to updates of national price lists. The updates need to be in line with the national update frequency. The price build up or relevant factors for interpretation of price information has to be provided whenever necessary but must be updated at least twice a year.
